Design and research of high‐performance electromagnetic interference shielding <scp>GO</scp>/<scp>NiNCs</scp>/<scp>PMMA</scp> microcellular foams

High performance electromagnetic (EM) interference shielding composites are of high demand due to increasing EM wave radiation pollution. In this work, GO/NiNCs/PMMA microcellular foams with different GO/NiNCs gradient and 3D conductive filler framework were fabricated by thermal reduction supercritical CO2 foaming process. With the crosslink 1D NiNCs 2D GO sheets, electrical conductivity varied from 1.15 × 10−4 highest 1.09 10−1 S/m is fabricated, exhibiting absorption-dominated shieling effectiveness (EMI SE) 53.62 dB specific EMI SE 48.44 g−1 cm3 in X-band. The density achieved lowest value 0.623 g/cm3. Moreover, showed excellent compressive strength 178.76 MPa, indicating application potential aerospace electronic field. thermoplastic polymer matrix also indicates great recycle foam material.
